Springing into action …

ree

I still can’t quite believe we are in March already. It has felt like a long winter and I am enjoying looking for the signs that spring is on her way as I am out and about in this beautiful and sacred part of this amazing world.

This month we have the spring equinox (in the northern hemisphere) where day and night are in perfect balance. Nature is the wisest teacher and if we take the time to observe and listen there is so much we can learn by following her lead.

Here in the northern hemisphere Nature is reminding us that now is the time to wake up from winters hibernation and internal work and to start moving forward, making plans and springing into action, much like the bulbs we can see pushing up through the earth ready to come into full bloom.

What is it that you truly want to do? Not what others expect of you, or you feel obliged or duty bound to do. What does your heart want to do? What brings you joy?

This is the perfect time to start gently pondering these important questions. I would highly recommend taking the time this month to really think about and feel what it is that YOU want.

Now is the time for action, and perhaps that action isn’t just about starting something. It could also be about stopping something, to stop doing the things that are not congruent with who you truly are and what you want. Some people in your life may not like it but If you are following your own heart and coming from a place of kindness and compassion for self and others then of course it will be perfect. Trust that you do know best, because you do. The people that want the best for you will support you.

As it get lighter the dust and dirt that hides during winter becomes more visible. Traditionally it’s the time where we spring clean our houses. It’s also a good time to spring clean ourselves too, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Spring is the time of new beginning and like nature we are constantly growing, evolving and have cycles and rhythm to our lives. Spring is a time of re-birth and illumination. We are part of nature too so why not use this powerful time to spring into action, follow your joy and build the life you want.

I would love to hear what you are going to do.
